About SweepsClan
Last updated
SweepsClan is the dated record of sweepstakes casino law in the United States, plus honest reviews of the casinos. We answer the questions people ask before signing up: is it legal in my state, who runs this casino, and how long do redemptions take. Every fact is sourced, and facts that can change show the date we checked them.
What we cover
- A state-by-state tracker of sweepstakes casino laws, bills and court actions, each named and dated.
- Casino reviews, each with a redemption page and a states page.
- For each casino, the company behind it, its Trustpilot and BBB figures, and lawsuits and regulator actions listed with their date and source.
Who runs SweepsClan
SweepsClan is operated by Geekcraft (VAT MT 28285130), Edelweiss, Flat 4, 250 Triq il-Karmnu, Birkirkara, Malta.
SweepsClan is run by its co-founders, Chris and Paul.
The site is built for players in the United States who are adults 21 and over.
SweepsClan is not a casino. We don't sell coins, run sweepstakes or award prizes. Nothing on the site is legal advice.
How we check facts
Everything is sourced and checked, whether by hand or by our own automated checks. Facts that can change show the date we checked them and their source. When we couldn't confirm a fact, the page says "Not yet known". Casinos change things often and without notice, so a fact can be out of date before our next check.
Where our facts come from
We gather facts from four kinds of source:
- The casino's own pages. Its terms, sweepstakes rules, help center and website. These are the casino's statements, not something we measured.
- Other pages we read ourselves. For example a Trustpilot or BBB profile, or an app store listing.
- Public record. State laws and bills, court filings, regulator and attorney general actions, and news reports about them.
- Our own sign-ups. What we see when we sign up and play at the casinos we review, each detail dated.
When we sign up and play
We sign up and play at the casinos we review. Hands-on details cover sign-up, first purchase, and redemption. Each one carries the date we did it, and it's labeled "We checked". A casino's own statement stays labeled as what the casino says.
A casino can treat other players differently and can change its rules.
What "checked" means
The line under each fact that can change looks like this: Checked Oct 2026 | Casino terms. The date tells you when we last read the source, by hand or with our own automated checks. The source name links to the page we read, unless the page is on a casino's own site.
We don't link straight to casino sites from a checked line, so a source on a casino's own site is named in plain text there. We never change a checked date without reading the source again.
How often we check
We check facts regularly. Our promise: we check every fact, including each casino's terms, at least once a week.
We keep a close watch on what matters most:
- the terms
- the bonuses
- redemption amounts, minimums, times and verification
We are working towards checking those almost daily, so sweepsclan.com stays up to date.
Casinos change things often and without notice, so a fact can change between our checks. The casino's own terms always win. Check them before you sign up or buy a coin package.
When we don't know
We show "Not yet known" when we could not find or confirm a fact. We would rather show a gap than guess. A fact that rests on thin evidence stays on our list to check again. If you know the answer, tell us through the contact page.
Is it legit?
We don't give a bare yes or no. Instead, we show:
- the company behind the casino
- where it is registered
- how long it has operated
- its Trustpilot and BBB figures
- lawsuits and regulator actions
Each item comes with its date and source. When a lawsuit is listed, we say so: a lawsuit is a claim, not a finding.
State pages are information, not legal advice
Each state page names the law or action the state has taken about sweepstakes casinos, with dates. Most state pages also list which casinos say they accept players there.
This is information, not legal advice. If you need advice about your own situation, talk to a lawyer in your state.
How pages are made
Each page is drafted with our own writing tools, then a person checks it against its sources before publishing. Every change to a page is recorded.
Corrections and reader updates
Found an error on one of our pages? Tell us. Email chris@sweepsclan.com or use the contact page.
We check every note against the source. If we were wrong, we fix the page and update the checked date.
Every correction is dated and logged. A note from a casino gets the same treatment as a note from a reader. The source decides.
We plan to let readers submit updates, which we check before publishing. That part isn't live yet.
How SweepsClan makes money
SweepsClan is free to use. We earn a commission when you sign up at some casinos through our links. It costs you nothing extra. We check, date and source every fact, and keep them as current as we can, whether or not we have a deal with the casino.
We also cover casinos we have no deal with. Money never changes the facts. A deal never decides what we write about a casino.
A placement labeled "Featured" may be commercial. Our disclosure page explains how it works.
