How we rate sweepstakes casinos

We don't hand out star ratings yet. Right now a SweepsClan review is a set of dated, sourced facts, arranged so you can judge a casino in a minute or two. Here is how that works.

Three kinds of evidence, never blended

• The casino says. Taken from the casino's own terms, help center or website. It is the casino's statement, not something we measured.
• We checked. A third-party page we read ourselves, such as a Trustpilot profile, a BBB profile or an app store listing.
• Public record. Court filings, regulator and attorney general actions, and news reports about them.

A fourth kind, players report, will appear once we have collected enough reports to be useful. It will always be labeled and kept apart from what the casino says.

The checked line

Under every changing fact you will see a line like "Checked Sep 2026 | Casino terms". The date is when we last read the source. The source name links to the page we read.

When we don't know

If we could not find a fact, the page says "Not yet known". We would rather show a gap than fill it with a guess. Some facts are marked as ones we are less sure of. Those need a second look, and we say so.

Is it legit?

We don't answer that with a bare yes or no. We show the company behind the casino, where it is registered, how long it has operated, its Trustpilot and BBB figures, and any lawsuits or regulator actions we found, each with its date and source. A lawsuit is a claim, not a finding, and we say that too.

States

Every state answer has three parts: what the state's law says, whether the casino accepts players there, and a reminder that this is information, not legal advice.

What we have not done

We have not signed up, purchased or redeemed at any casino on this site, so nothing here claims hands-on testing. When that changes, test results will be dated and labeled as our own.

Money

We do not currently earn commission from any casino. If that changes, our disclosure page and the casino pages will say so. A casino's commission will never shape what we write about it.
