What Illinois's law says
Regulator or Attorney General enforcement
On 5 February 2026 the Illinois Gaming Board, with the Attorney General, sent more than 60 cease-and-desist letters to online casino and sweepstakes operators, telling them to block Illinois residents or stop offering prizes.
