What Louisiana's law says

Act 182 of 2026 makes any online dual-currency game that simulates gambling 'gambling by computer' and penalises promoters, endorsers and media affiliates who knowingly support it.

Law or action: HB 883 (Act 182 of 2026), amending R.S. 14:90.3 and adding R.S. 27:19.1-19.2; HB 53 (Act 48 of 2026) adds gambling crimes as racketeering predicates. Earlier: SB 181 (2025) vetoed.
