The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board told a House committee on 7 April 2025 that sweepstakes casinos are 'in our assessment, illegal online gambling' and that it had sent about eighteen cease-and-desist letters, all complied with; no ban bill has been introduced that we could verify.
