LoneStar is legit as a sweepstakes casino because it is run by REALPLAY TECH INC, a company registered in Delaware, USA, and it offers free Sweeps Coins with no purchase necessary. It is not a risk-free choice, though, because it has received cease-and-desist letters from regulators in Illinois, Maryland and Tennessee, and the operator’s BBB profile carries an F rating.
It suits players who want a sweepstakes casino with a sister site (RealPrize), a free mail-in entry option, and a decent iOS app, and who are comfortable with a 100 USD minimum redemption.

How do LoneStar redemptions work?
Sweeps Coins become prizes through a redemption request. The minimum is 100 USD in prize value, or 45 USD for gift cards. You need a 1x playthrough on your Sweeps Coins before redeeming, and the casino may require more at its discretion.
Prizes are paid in USD to your Remittance Instrument. Gift cards come digitally by email or physically posted to your account address. Only one open request is allowed at a time, and there is a 10,000 USD per day cap.
